Has anyone out there managed to TEST DRIVE a Honda FIT?

The two dealers I've been to asure me that nobody test drives it - it's so in-demand that by the time the ar arrives it's already sold - and they won't let you test-drive using someone else's car. I've never bought a car without test-driving it - can anyone out there provide me with a review of the car's handling and etc?
