Would you give your kid the Wechsler iq test at 15?

I am a mommy but this is for school! I am earning my bachelors of science in nursing and in psychology i am writing an essay about the Wechsler iq test its based of verbal and performance. i am too act as if i have a 15 yo and hes doing bad in school.. the weigh the pros and cons but id like to know if any other parent has went through this and if so what do you think did it help or not? was it biased testing.. any info would help. thanks in advance!
