Who's at fault here? She betrayed my trust and friendship...?

My friend .. lets call her .. Jack.. -not her real name- Was grounded fpr something she says i tought her to do. With i asure you is a lie... She wanted to come to my party but since she was grounded, couldn't. The week before my party rumors started flying around! Me and My other friends went to the office and everything.. and she got in trouble for starting these rumors.. (about 95% of the people said 'jack' had told the rumors to them....) Now she wont talk to me and is mean..! Do I have a right to feel mad? She betrayed my trust saying these untrue awful htings about my family... I don't know to feel hurt, or mad. Please tell me what you all think... I trusted her and always gave her money dhe never returned.. didnt listen to my problems... Do you think maybe i should forget about her? I was always listening to her... sigh.. I'm just really confuzed!
